How We Cater for All Dietary Requirements (and Still Keep It Delicious!)

Food is meant to be shared — but that only works when everyone at the table can actually enjoy it.

At Colline’s Kitchen, we’ve built our menus around that belief. Whether you’re planning a business lunch in Newbury, a wedding in Thatcham, or a wellness retreat in the West Berkshire countryside, we make sure everyone feels included (and properly fed!).

Here’s how we make it work 👇

1. We start with conversation

No two events are the same. When you get in touch, we’ll chat through your guest list, dietary requirements, and any must-haves before planning a thing.

We’ve catered for everything from fully vegan retreats to gluten-free corporate lunches — and yes, we’ve even pulled off a last-minute dairy-free dessert switch more than once!

2. Fresh ingredients, naturally flexible

Because we cook with seasonal, local produce, it’s easy for us to adapt.

Fresh vegetables, herbs, grains and proteins can be transformed into dishes that suit almost any diet — without losing flavour or creativity.

We’re firm believers that a good gluten-free or vegan meal should taste just as amazing as everything else on the table.

3. Cross-contamination awareness

We take food safety seriously. Separate prep spaces, clean tools, and careful labelling mean you can relax knowing every dish is handled with care.

If you or your guests have allergies or intolerances, just let us know — we’ll make sure it’s accounted for from the start.

4. Balanced menus for mixed groups

We often design menus with both plant-based and meat options, ensuring everyone can build a plate that suits them.

Think of it as a “create-your-own” experience: colourful salads, hearty mains, and treats that happen to be free-from (but full of flavour).

5. It’s all about the love

At the end of the day, great food is great food — it doesn’t need a label.

Whether you’re vegan, gluten-free, pescatarian, or just love a bit of everything, our goal is always the same: make it fresh, make it flavourful, and make it feel like home.
